Ormiston Latimer Academy has been established to deliver education programmes (on behalf of the Local Authority) to children and young people who are out of school for a variety of reasons, according to DfE guidance and government directives.

We are responsible for:

  • All pupils who are permanently excluded from school;
  • The support of children and young people who are at risk of exclusion from school and managed move to us;
  • Provision of specific individual pupil programmes commissioned by Special Education Needs Section Procedures

“Pupils join the school at different points in the year. Leaders quickly check where pupils might have gaps in their learning. In small classes, staff tailor lessons to each pupil’s needs.”
